2024 Thousand Oaks Referee Training Schedule

At Region 9, we have U7/U8 Referees take the Regional Referee Online Course, and then come to the Fields for a Companion Course made specifically for Region 9 U7/U8 Referees.
Here is how to sign up for Referee Training:
| 1. | Go to AYSOU. There is a button to the right of your name on the Volunteer Page, same place as the Safety Courses. |
| 2. | Go to "Training Event" on the left. |
| 3. | Find "August 17." |
| 4. | Click whichever course (9-12 or 1-4) you can make. Only Region 9 courses should appear, as the default filter is your own Region. |
| 5. | Says "NEW - Regional Referee - Online + In-Person Companion Course". Do not sign up for coach training that day! |
| 6. | Go to "My Training" in the list on the left. |
| 7. | Find "NEW - Regional Referee - Online + In-Person Companion Course" |
| 8. | Click the "View" button. |
| 9. | Click the Start button in the first box. |
| 10. | Take the rest of the course. |
| 11. | Pass the test. |
| 12. | Show up on Aug 17 at the signed-up time. |
| 13. | If you cannot appear on Aug 17, we might schedule other companion courses, or you can "unclick" Region 9 in the search filters at the top, and use a radius to find nearby Referee Courses. Newbury Park, Moorpark, Agoura, Simi Valley and Camarillo are nearby. |
You will receive a Uniform Voucher at the end of the session.
When your safety courses are verified as completed, you will be given an ID and password for the Referee Self-Scheduling System.
When your safety courses are verified as completed, Your badge will be handed out on Week One (September 7, 2024) at the Referee Tent at the CC South Fields.

Referee Kit (Uniform) Vouchers (free!) redeemable at BK Sports (in Newbury Park) will be distributed AFTER THE REQUIRED REFEREE ON-FIELD TRAINING for Region 9 Referees who complete the course. Note: Women's and children's sizes will be available! Shirts, shorts, and socks, as well as a whistle and a Match Report Wallet.
