Referee Hall of Fame
Mission
The Area 1C Referee Hall of Fame's mission is to honor excellence on the part of referee volunteers of AYSO Area 1C, and to make a connection between the generations of volunteers who have participated in refereeing soccer in Area 1C. The Referee Hall of Fame honors those referee volunteers who have given outstanding service to Area 1C over a period of many years.
Candidate Minimum Requirements
- Has provided 20 years or more of service to AYSO, including 10 years of connected service to Area 1C after immediate family members have left the program as active players.
- Has an AYSO National Referee Badge certification.
- Has actively participated in refereeing programs and activities at the Region, Area and Section or National levels.
- Has developed programs to benefit AYSO that are recognized throughout Area 1C.
- Has promulgated Referee development for AYSO and specifically for Area 1C.
- Has been nominated by an Area 1C Region as a developer of the game of Soccer locally or in the Area 1C.
- Has participated in the Administration of the AYSO Program at the Area, Section or National level.
- Is in good standing in both the civil and soccer communities
- Has demonstrated leadership in personal and sports activities.
