REGISTRATION FOR THE 2020 FALL SEASON IS NOW OPEN

A FEW EARLY SEASON NOTES - DUE TO THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY:

UPDATE 6/23/20

As of today, Region 795 and all of the regions in the San Fernando Valley, representing Area 10V, are planning to have a fall season. The season may start with mini camps and work our way into a shortened gaming circuit, but we should be able to get a full 10-12 week mixed program in for fall.

Due to field space and permits not being available right now, and possibly not until September, all regions in Area 10V have agreed to push back the start of the fall season to after Labor Day. As of now, we will be using the attached adjusted calendar with the understanding that dates and events may change.

If order for the region to plan for the fall season, we need to know how many kids we will have for teams in each division. With this in mind, we are asking that all parents who are interested in their kids playing in the 2020 Fall Season to please sign up as soon as possible. All registered players will be placed on the waitlist and there are no fees due at this time…registering will just allow the region to assess how many teams we can form. Once our permits are approved and we can start the season, we will notify all parents so you can submit the registration fees. 

Additionally, we will need coaches ready to go once we are able to form teams. If you are interested in coaching, please email me and let me know which division you would like to coach in. We all want to get our kids back on the field playing, so please sign up to coach or referee.

We will have more updates over the next few weeks as things become clearer. We are looking forward to the 2020 Fall Season and seeing our region families on the fields again.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT OPTIONS

• To try and help everyone during these touch times amidst the Covid-19 Emergency, we have provided an option for parents to pay a $20 deposit for their child plus the $20 National Player Fee - the total deposit required to register is $40 total - the balance of the fees must be paid prior to the start of the season and once we know if we can have a season for sure
• Please note that Sports Connect (website registration host) has implemented a $2.75 transaction fee per transaction
  • You can register 1 or 4 kids at the same time and only be charged one transaction fee but if you register 4 kids 4 different times, then there will be 4 transaction fees
  • Additionally, you will be charged the $2.75 transaction fee each time you make a payment if you do not pay it all at once

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION ON HOLD

• We always need your help and definitely will need everyone's help with coaching, reffing, equipment, field set-ups however the Volunteer Registration portion is on hold for now - if you would like to sign up to volunteer, please email me at [email protected] - We will maintain a spreadsheet and will let you know when you can register online
• Reason for the hold is financial for the region - When you register, there is a $25 Volunteer Membership Fee that is charged to cover background screening and access to AYSOU for training - The region pays this fee on behalf of our volunteers - If the Fall Season is cancelled due to the Covid-19 Emergency, the region will not be able to recoup these fees - once we have confirmation the season will not be cancelled, we will be able to let volunteers register and we will absorb these fees

UPDATE AS OF 4/18/20 

• The Fall Season will run as listed but changes to the start dates, game dates and ending or playoff dates may change
• Opening weekend and the first games may be pushed back to after Labor Day

FALL SEASON CANCELLATION

•  If we have to cancel the Fall Season due to the Covid-19 Emergency, all fees paid, including the $20 National Player Fee will be refunded to parents within 4 weeks of cancellation
