To become a Regional Referee:

1.      Log into ayso249.org to register as a volunteer. You will then be sent an email from Sterling to complete the background check. All volunteers must pass a background check. (If you need to pay the $25 fee, please keep your receipt and email to [email protected] to request a reimbursement.)

2.      Once you have registered as a volunteer, use the same login and password to login into AYSOU.org which is our training website. There you will need to take the following online classes:

·       Under Online Courses, select Referee Courses, then select and take the Regional Referee Training course

·       Also under online courses, select Safe Haven, then take the Safe Haven, Concussion, and Cardiac Arrest Courses

·       You then need to take a mandatory field training class. Please sign up at AYSOU.org, go to in-person classes, then Referee Instructor Led courses, then click on Regional Referee Online Companion course and then select a course.

·       Once you have completed all of your training requirements, please contact Brian Muldowney at [email protected]
