Youth volunteers are just as important in AYSO as our adult volunteers. Since AYSO is to teach youth the game of soccer in a fun, fair, safe and family oriented environment, why not include them by giving 12-17 year old youth the chance to become volunteers? This will give them a chance to become our future coaches, adult referees, board members and the list goes on!

What opportunities are available for youth to volunteer in? Great question! We have a great answer as well. First let us state, youth cannot fulfill adult only volunteer positions. Coaching, assistant coaching, money handling and board, area, section and national positions are for adults only. Youth CAN volunteer to be youth referees, assistant referees, coach helpers, snack shack helpers, and many other areas that do not fall under the adult volunteer positions. Can we create a position? Absolutely! The best part is, there will always be a registered adult volunteer nearby! Talk with our Regional Commissioner, CVPA or other board members if your youth is interested in volunteering. We can talk with you and your youth about the different opportunities and what training will be required. Oh, training is absolutely FREE!
