AYSO Standard Divisional Guidelines

This chart is a culmination of most of the changes for each division for small sided matches. The associated National Rules and Regulations (NR&R) is listed in the chart.
Some significant points:

• Field sizes are required within the new ranges or as close as possible.
• Build-out lines are required for 9U/10U.
• The old Jamboree format (6U) was 3v3; the new required format is 4v4.
• No Punting in 9U to 12U is now a requirement, to teach building the play from the rear, rather than the 50/50 of a long punt.
