U5/5U (PRE-K) PROGRAM INFORMATION
“The objective of this program is to provide young players and their parents with a “pressure free” introduction to the beautiful and simple game of soccer. At this age, players should be exposed to soccer by
playing simple, fun activities and games that require little to no practice, and a minimal time commitment.” AYSO National Guidelines
U5 Region 425 Program
-Players practice once a week with AYSO Professional Coaches (P2 Soccer).
-Parents select practice works best for their child.
-For available practice times email [email protected].
-Players participate in “game day” fun on Saturdays at 9:00am at Townley Field in Kenilworth.
-Players are led through warm up activities by AYSO Professional Coaches.
-Players are placed on teams of 3-4 (all boys or all girls) with a parent and play 3 v 3.
-Professional coaches assist parent-coaches in game management.
-Every team must have at least one parent-coach.

U6/6U (KINDERGARTEN) PROGRAM INFORMATION
Players are placed on set teams of 10 - 12 with two to three parent-coaches.
Players practice each week for 45 minutes with Professional AYSO Coach, similar to U5.
-Parents select practice that works best for their child.
-Teammates do not practice together, unless they select the same practice time.
-Practice sign up takes place in August.
-Practice sizes are limited.
Players participate in “game day” fun on Saturdays.
10:00am (Girls) or 11:00 am (Boys) at Townley Field in Kenilworth.
-Teams are assigned fields and split into two to three groups to play another team.
-Teams play two games, supervised by parent-coaches and AYSO Professional Coaches.

All Parent-Coaches will take U6 coaching certification courses and have on-field assistance from AYSO Professional Coaches.

1. PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A JERSEY, PAIR OF SHORTS AND A PAIR OF SOCKS DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF THE PROGRAM.
2. EACH CHILD NEEDS TO HAVE SHIN GUARDS AND SOCCER CLEATS
