COMING THIS FALL

With AYSO Adult Soccer, we would like to provide the same enriching program to our AYSO parents and community members.

Our Adult Soccer League Portal is now open.  You can visit it here.

But what is AYSO Adult Soccer? Review our FAQ to get an idea of what's involved.

IS THE ADULT LEAGUE AN AYSO PROGRAM?

Yes. The league is part of the North American Adult Soccer Association (NAASA). NAASA is in fact a division inside AYSO.

HOW COMPETITIVE IS THE LEAGUE?

This is a recreational adult soccer program. No minimum requirement of soccer or physical skill is required. The league is designed to accommodate a wide range of player skill levels. Some players have never played soccer before, while other are highly skilled. The only requirement is that you come out to have some fun. The intent is to play soccer on the weekend and then go to work on Monday.

IS THE PROGRAM OPEN TO ANYONE?

While the motivation behind the creation of this program comes from the parents, older siblings and volunteers involved in our youth programs, the adult league is open to anyone 18 years or older.

WILL MY FRIENDS AND I BE PLACED ON THE SAME TEAM?

Players are free to buddy-up, form their own team or they can just register and we will find them a spot on a team. There will be a limited number of teams. Applications received after the teams are formed are placed on teams with space available or placed on a waiting list.

WHEN WILL GAMES BE PLAYED?

The current plan is to have the fall season games run from September 9th – November 18th 2017. Our intentions are to play games on Saturdays, but we will not be able to finalize those details until the youth season schedule is made available.

WHERE WILL GAMES BE PLAYED?

Games will be played at the Lancaster National Soccer Center (Ave. L & 30th East).

WHAT DIVISIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS SEASON?

Coed Teams (one division for all ages)

HOW WILL COED TEAMS WORK?

Coed 7-v-7 Matches

Of the seven players on the field, there may not be more than four men on the field at one time. There is no maximum number limit of women on the field at one time. Max roster size will be 12.

CAN I PLAY ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM?

Players may only play on one team during the season.

WHAT ARE THE FEES INVOLVED?

The total registration cost for a player is $85.00. This fee includes the NAASA Annual Membership fee, uniform, and Fall Season program fees.

HOW DO I REGISTER AS A PLAYER?

We are currently working on our registration portal through our website ayso91.org. Please keep checking back on the webpage for further updates. If you would like to be a team captain/coach or have a team ready, please see the contact information below. Once the portal is live, registration and payment will be processed online at ayso91.org.

There will be a limited number of teams. Registrations received after the teams are formed will be placed on teams with space available or placed on a waiting list.

FAIR AND FUN PLAY

We maintain a zero tolerance policy in regard to any violation of our policies, and the basic safety and sportsmanship rules of our league. Anyone not willing to follow this philosophy will be removed from our league and encouraged to find another more suited to their needs.

The following are some of the violations that will result in permanent removal from the AYSO Region 91 Adult League (AVASL):

  • Slide-tackling
  • Frequent or flagrant use of foul language
  • Fighting (regardless of who started it)
  • Taunting
  • Cheating of any kind
  • Consistent dissent with referee, coach, and/or player
  • Refusal to abide by decisions or requests of the officials, including the League Board
  • The use of alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes or any controlled substance on, or around, an AYSO facility
WHERE CAN I SEE ALL THE RULES?

You can view all the League Rules right here:

AYSO Region 91 Adult Soccer League Rules

We reserve the right to determine any other causes for removal at the discretion of the League Board based on the severity of the offense.
