Welcome to AYSO Playground!

Playground is for those kids that will be 3 years old at the start of the regions regular activities.  Playground is led by an AYSO trained and certified Activity leader. Playground is focused on motor skill development and social interaction in a soccer themed environment.  Due to the age of the participants parents are asked to help their children with the activities and to have fun playing with their children.

There are no practices or games for the Playground participants. Players will gather every Saturday and participate in activities for up to a maximum of 1 hour.  Some activities will deal with a soccer ball, some will deal with other toys used to assist in development of basic motor skills and hand/eye coordination.

Schoolyard is for those kids that will be 4 at the start of the regions regular activities.  Schoolyard builds on the Playground program by introducing players to basic soccer skills of kicking, passing and dribbling the ball.  Led by an AYSO Master Coach players with some parental volunteer assistance will participate in a 30 minute practice session.  They will then be broken into teams of 4 players each and participate in a 20 minute (two 10 minute halves) soccer game.

Region 319 High Plains Soccer activities begin on 15 Sep 2018.  This means you child must be 3 years old for playground and 4 years old for schoolyard on or before 15 Sep 2018 to register. If you would like more information please feel free to contact us.
