Indoor Soccer For the Fall 2017 Season in Victor is back again!!! We will be playing four Sundays, and one Saturday, in November and December.
There is nothing you can do as a player that will more dramatically affect your game in a positive fashion then participating in indoor soccer. Because the gym floor is flat and the ball is perfectly round, and there is no wind or other weather conditions, any ball control or technique issues will be evident, and we can address these technical opportunities directly to eliminate them. Players learn to play faster, with better pace on passes, and better first touch control on receptions. Players are forced to become aware of off ball movement and player tactics. Players receive a large number of touches on the ball because of the reduced number of field players (4v4) and the confined space.
Cost for the program is $10 for all sessions at Victor. Sessions are one hour long, and will include skills evaluation, skills training and technique development, and jamboree style games. Sessions will be led by one of our trained Coaches.
Available divisions at this level include 6U, 8U. 10U, and 12U. Players 14U and over are welcome to participate as player/coaches with any division. They may participate in drills and will get additional touches. If they participate as player/coaches in both sessions, their registration fee will be waived.
Sessions will be scheduled as indicated in the regional calendar, and on the grid above.
AYSO Members may register by signing in to their AYSO Region 1103 account, going to the "My Accounts" page, and selecting additional programs. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact the regional registrar at
[email protected]. You may also want to browse the selection of help articles on registration under the parents tab of the website.
Non-AYSO players may participate, however in addition to the $10 program fee, they will be charged an additional $17.50 National Fee. This National Fee is charged only once per player and entitles them to participate in any of the Region 1103 Primary or secondary programs (additional fees required for some programs). This includes participating in Spring Outdoor Soccer, competing on any Net Fest, or Indoor tournament teams, participating on any Iowa Games Tournament teams or Soccer Slam Tournament teams, or participating in any of the road trip activities.
