Scholarship Information

AYSO Spartanburg awards up to 50% scholarships to help parents and guardians who are in circumstances where the family cannot pay the full player registration fee on their own. Scholarships are distributed on a first come, first served basis, when funding is available and not all scholarship request are approved. Scholarships are awarded primarily on financial need, and secondly on a family's volunteerism to AYSO.

If your player is approved for a scholarship, AYSO Spartanburg will provide you with a coupon code via e-mail with the amount to be used during your payment/checkout process of the player(s) registration.

Scholarship Process

To Apply, the parent or guardian must:

Register the children at this website above but do not pay.
Submit the below scholarship application form.
One application per family, list all children needing scholarships on the application. Please indicate the scholarship amount you are requesting up to 50% in the Additional Comments section.
Previous and current volunteerism provided by the applicant family to AYSO, will be considered. Having failed to meet previous volunteer commitments or lack of willingness to volunteer will also be a consideration. Please Volunteer.
All applications will be processed in the order received and you will be notified as soon as possible.
