**MUST BE AT LEAST 14 YEARS OF AGE TO CERTIFY AS A INTERMEDIATE REFEREE**

How to register and complete the courses

If you are not already registered as a volunteer, you must do so before completing any courses. 
To register as a returning volunteer, please begin with STEP 1.
If you are already a MY20 volunteer, begin with STEP 2.  

STEP 1 – YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AS A  MY19 VOLUNTEER

• Go to the "Register Now" button at the top right corner of the page
• Next "Already have an account? use Sign in here! " link
•   Use the "Volunteer MY2109 Registration" season, then complete the pages
•  After completing, select "Referee" for your Volunteer "Role" position and then "Submit" button
•  Select the gender and 10U division (12U for Intermediate) to Referee for as a volunteer
  
  

STEP 2 – YOU MUST COMPLETE “SAFE HAVEN” AND “CONCUSSION AWARENESS”   

• Select the "AYSOU" tab at the top of the page
• Select the "My Courses" tab
• Select either "AYSO's Safe Haven" or "CDC Concussion Course"  then "Open" to take the course(s)
• Print the "Certificate of Completion" for both of the courses and bring them with you to the classroom portion 

STEP 3 – YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THE  "REGIONAL ONLINE COMPANION", "REGIONAL REFEREE" OR “INTERMEDIATE" REFEREE TRAINING COURSES

• HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE "REGIONAL REFEREE ONLINE COMPANION TRAINING"
• Select the "AYSOU" tab at the top of the Region 129's website
• Enter your Blue Sombrero login and password
• Select the "eCommerce" tab
• Select "Referee Training"
• Select the "Buy Now" button for the Regional Referee Training course 
•  Select the "My Courses" tab
• Select "Regional Referee Training", then the "Open" button
• Use the "Launch" button to complete each of the modules
• Print the "Certificate of Completion" and bring it with you to the Classroom portion of the training
• Select the "My Courses" tab
• Select the "Instructor Led Courses" tab, the the "Open" button
• Select the "Referee Instructor Led Courses" tab, then the "Open" button
• Select the "Regional Referee Online Companion Course", then the "Session" button
• Select the "Visalia Regional Referee Online Companion Course - Visalia, CA", then the "Register" button
• Find the date (Ex: Mon 12 Aug 2019) you want to attend to attend class on

• HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE "REGIONAL REFEREE" OR "INTERMEDIATE REFEREE" TRAINING
•  Select the "AYSOU" tab at the top of Region 129's website
•  Enter your Blue Sombrero login and password
•  Select the "My Courses" tab
•  Select the "Instructor Led Courses" tab, then the "Open" button
•  Select the "Referee Instructor Led Courses" tab, then the "Open" button 
•  Select the "Basic Regional Referee" or"Intermediate Referee Course", then the "Session" button 
•  Select the  "Visalia Basic Regional Referee Course - Visalia, CA" or "Visalia Intermediate Referee Course - Visalia, CA",
  then the "Register" button
•  Find the date (Ex: Fri 24 Jul 2020) you want to attend the class on

STEP 4 – SHOW UP *** HAVE FUN *** BE CERTIFIED!!
