Fall Soccer 2021

Dear Soccer Families,

It's official, soccer is set for the fall. Sorry for the delay but we had to get a lot of things worked out prior to the season but we are ready to go now. Registration will remain open for most of the season so please spread the word if you know someone that is interested but thinks they missed their chance. The fall 2021 season will officially begin on Saturday September 11th.

The season is going to start out a little different this year. We have so many new faces from players to coaches and even board members. So the plan will be to have an orientation/practice day so that we can do some basic coach training, set up teams, and answer any questions you might have. Based on the outcome of the orientation day we may consider having an additional orientation day the following Saturday but we will let you know. The following week we will have practice as usual on Wednesday nights starting at 5:30 and ending at approximately 6:30 based on daylight. Practice will be at the home field you selected unless we notify you otherwise.

Orientation day Schedule Only (Game Schedule will be announced at a later date):
- Playground, 6U, 8U = 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- 10U/12U = 10:30 a.m. to noon

Another change for this season will be the location of the games. This year the board has selected Tongore Park in Olive as the Home field. What this means is that all games will take place at this field for the fall season. Games are always on Saturday mornings and there are multiple time slots based on the age group your child is in.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we also learned that the website didn't have a selection for you to put in the players uniform sizes. Please log back in and make sure you enter all of the info as soon as possible as well as the home field selection. Be sure to repeat this step for all participants.

RECAP:
- Registration is still open so if you know anyone that's interested please let them know!
- Start of season = Saturday 9/11 (practice/orientation)
- Go to website to complete uniform size and home field selection
- Refer to orientation day schedule for your time slot
- Practices are on Wednesday nights at 5:30 at your home field
- Games are Saturday mornings, time is TBD.
- Players must have Shin Guards and they will not be allowed to practice or play without them!!!
- Cleats are encouraged but not required.
- Please be prepared and bring a mask for everyone in your family.
- Coaches and Assistant Coaches are still needed so please consider volunteering.
