AYSO Region 1225 – Game News

3, 7, 10, 12 and 14 October 2017

Thursday, 12 October 2017, was the region’s last week day/evening game for the fall season. The region wanted to “test” the week day/evening game concept during our fall soccer season; as it turns out, half of the parents liked it and half did not like the week day/evening soccer games. As for the spring soccer season, the weather is very unpredictable, and the week day games might be tabled until our fall 2018 soccer season.

AYSO Region 1225 – Game News

26 September, 3 October and 7 October 2017

The region’s referee administrator received temporary out of state employment one week prior to our season beginning, as the result, the number of referees is lacking. The lack of referees has made this fall season very frustrating for both parents and board members.  Therefore, the region has asked parents to step up to volunteer and become trained referees. We are hoping that parents do step up to volunteer. Even with this frustration, it is evident that the children are enjoying the game of soccer and do not feel this frustration.
