Great Soccer is Played Here!

I've Registered Now What Happens?

What’s the Board doing?
Immediately after the last registration date, your Region Board begins the process of putting the teams together for the upcoming season. Recruiting and training parent volunteers as coaches and referees.

When do the coaches get their teams?
Coaches should expect to receive their team rosters in early August.

When do the players get called?
For divisions 6U and above, the coaches will contact the players prior to our Region 41 Meet the Coach Day, which will be held on August 15, 2018. The 5U’s will be contacted by our Schoolyard Coordinator, who will host a parent’s meeting in early August.  We will give you all the information you will need in regards to practice times and location. Each coach sets his/her own practice days, time and location.

Another important date to keep in mind is our Region 41 Opening Day carnival and picture day on August 25th.

It’s after August 13th and we have not been contacted. What should I do?
Please do not panic. If your child's coach has not contacted you called by August 13th, please feel free to contact our Coach Administrator, Rod Robinson, at mail: rca@ayso41.org.

What else does my child need?
The registration fee includes: complete uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) supplemental accident insurance, team and individual pictures.

In addition, you need to obtain shoes, shin guards (mandatory), a soccer ball (size depends on age) and a water bottle.

How often are practices and games?
Practices are held during the week for divions 8U and above (days/times to be determined by your child’s coach).  5U Schoolyard, will not hold practices during the week.  Instead, the kids will practice prior to playing their games on Saturdays only.  The season opens on the first Saturday after Labor Day.  Games and practices will be held at various fields throughout the city.  See our web page for a list of our fields.  www.ayso41.org

Please Remember…
AYSO is a volunteer, parent-based organization established to provide a positive experience for our children.  Go to the games. Learn the rules. And above all, be tolerant of the children’s volunteer coaches and referees.

Volunteers Needed!
AYSO can only function with an army of parent volunteers.  This program is what you, the parent, make of it.  We need every parent to pitch in, help out and make this a great soccer experience for your child.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate at CVPA@ayso41.org
