Fall 2017 Registration

Registration Is Open

Registration is now open from 3/14/2017 through 6/11/2017. We are expecting divisions to fill up fast so be sure to register early to avoid being put onto a wait list.

New All-Online Registration Process

There are big changes in the way registration is being handled now from prior years. Registering your children is now an all-online, one-step process. There is no reason to come to a Walk-In Registration day unless you are planning to pay your registration fees with cash or check.

Registration Process Summary

  1. Create an account at
  2. Add your child participants
  3. Fill out registration form
  4. Upload a scan of your child's birth certificate so we can verify their ages. You can also choose to bring birth certificate documents to a Walk-In Registration Day.
  5. Electronically sign forms for each participant
  6. Sign up to volunteer
  7. View your shopping cart for details on all applied fees and family discounts
  8. Pay with a credit card. If you are paying with cash or check, you'll need to contact us so we can finish the registration process.
  9. You'll be contacted by your coach when teams are formed by mid-August.

Registration Fees and Family Discounts

Fees are structured differently than in prior years due to the new AYSO-wide system we are using.

  • $115 Region 98 registration fee for our regular 2017 Fall Core program. 
  • $0.00 Region 98 registration fee for our 2017 VIP Soccer co-ed program for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities.
  • $17.50 non-refundable, non-transferable per-player AYSO National Fee. Allows players to participate year-round during Fall and post-season programs.
  • $20.00 per-player Cash/Check Processing Fee for paying fees without a credit card.
  • Family Discounts: $10 for the second player, $25 for the third player. $320 total maximum fee for families.
  • A payment plan is available for families paying with credit card

Walk-In Registration Days

Registration forms must be filled out online. Walk-In Registration Days are solely for the following purposes:

1. To show birth certificates for registered children so that we may verify their ages
2. To hand-deliver cash or checks for registration fees so that we may complete the registration process
3. To sign up to volunteer
4. To speak with Region 98 volunteers to answer your questions

Bad Check Policy

All returned checks will be charged a service fee of $25. The child or children involved will not be permitted to participate in the program until this fee plus registration fees are paid in full to the Treasurer.

Refund Policy

Player Registration – Regional Registration Fee Refund Policy

The Regional registration fee for each player participant shall be fixed annually by the regional board.

Any player who withdraws from the program shall be entitled to a full refund of such Regional registration fee less costs that are non-recoverable by the Region as follows:

  1. Before July 15th: player is entitled to a full refund of the registration fee paid
  2. Between July 15th and July 31st: player is entitled to 50% of the amount paid
  3. After August 1st: players assigned to a team are NOT eligible to receive refunds, except for any of the following reasons which entitle a player to 50% of the amount paid:
    •  Valid medical excuse – Proof of doctor's note explaining the situation is required
    •  Moved out of the AYSO AREA 1C (West San Gabriel Valley) area – Proof of new address is required
The Regional Registration fee does not include the $17.50 AYSO National Fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
