Spring Information for Coaches


U10   Max size 10, preferably 9
U12   Max size 12
U14   Max size 15, preferably 14
U16 or U19 may have roster up to 18.
If you are still in need of a player please email Jason Kakimoto and Paul Kirby so we can assist you on getting someone from the waitlist placed. 

As a coach, you are responsible for the following items: Emailed roster to Jason Kakimoto and Paul Kirby , Registrar: Denise English, Treasurer: Melissa Deligleze Due by Friday February 3rd, 2017. Uniform information will also be collected (See Below). Please also submit the names of your 3 referee's as well to Referee Administrator Loren Maddy 

● Pick out Team Uniform at: ● Submit uniform style, color, sizes and the # the player wants to wear. Numbers 00, 2 - 99 are available during the Spring season. Please select Uniforms that are $16.00 or less. Please note that our price is the VIP price. For example, your form should read - Memphis Kit - Royal Blue - AS - #2,4,7,9 AM - #11,15, 20 AL - #25, 20, 35. Don't forget to include short sizes and bring the orders to the Coach Meeting. 

● Existing All-Star teams and EXTRA teams will use the same uniforms that they have used all year. If new players have joined the team for the Spring, please submit the size and # that the player would like. EXTRA team uniforms may be subject to an additional fee. EXTRA uniforms orders should be sent to: Jason Kakimoto 

ALL Spring Recreation and Select teams MUST referee games for other region 55 teams at home. Any team not supporting our program with referees during the season will be removed from the schedule and you will seriously jeopardize your ability to coach in the upcoming Fall season. We will be tracking referee participation throughout the Spring Season. 

Your referee's must be certified with appropriate training. Your assistant coaches must also have age appropriate training. The Area K Training Academy held at Fountain Valley High School on February 24, February 25 and February 26 for anyone who might need referee or coach training. Please be aware of the rule changes made last year for the Spring 2017 season in regard to your rosters. Please click on the link below for those changes. 

Please take a photo of each individual player on your team as well as coach and assistant coach and email those photos to our registrar, Denise English, at Please do this as soon as possible as Denise needs to make up the ID cards for your teams. ID cards are mandatory for the Spring season. EXTRA teams and All Star teams will not need new ID Cards unless you added a new player then they will need one.

Walk in Registration: 7PM-9PM on Tuesday February 7th, 2017 @ Outbreak Soccer Center (5555 McFadden Ave. Huntington Beach, 92649). 

Mail in Registration: Mail all paperwork and fees to:

Spring Schedule

During the Spring, we may only practice at Lark View or College View. For those of you who would like to practice at College View, you must submit an email to Becky Kirby at requesting the days and times that you would like to practice. As a rule of thumb, the U10 & U12 teams will be slotted in the early time slots and the U14 and above teams will be given the later time slots. 

The Spring season is scheduled to begin on March 11th and finish on May 13th. 

Practices for the Spring season may begin on Monday, February 13th. 

Lastly, Region 55 will continue to implement the 3/4 play rule for all players and that games cannot be won by more than 5 goals. 

Spring Registration

Spring Registration at is now open. To Register: Go to to register your player.

If your player was registered in Fall 2016, select “Signup for other programs” under “Player who already applied”. Select “Spring” next to your player’s name. Update any player/contact information if needed.

If your player was not registered in Fall 2016 and new to Region 55, select “Application for a New Player”. If your player played previously in Region 55 but not Fall 2016, select “Application for a Returning Player”. Complete the eAYSO “e-signature” for the application.

Print two copies of the registration form to bring to a Registration below along with the Fees: $75.00 for Region 55 returning players from Fall 2016 or $90.00 for Guest Players from another Region/Club. Checks should be made out to AYSO Region 55.

● Volunteer forms for coaches, assistant coaches and referees do NOT need to be submitted again if one has already turned them in for the 2016 Fall season. Volunteer forms will need to be submitted for anyone who did not submit one in the Fall 2016. This should include two copies of the forms along with a copy of the driver's license.
