During the Covid-19 pandemic this is the policy:
There is a lot of planning that goes into creating a season or special event for our regional AYSO soccer club here in Trumbull. Although extenuating circumstances occur and plans change, these changes affect other families and the regional planning. There, we ask that refunds request be submitted as early as possible.
The following items outline our regional policy:
- Any shut down due to COVID-19 or any variants after the season starts is non-refundable due to start up costs such as back ground checks for all volunteers, town fees for fields use, equipment and supplies that were needed.
- A partial refund will be issued if AYSO is shut down due to COVID-19 or any variants before the season starts.
- Special case refunds will be reviewed as needed.
-Non-Trumbull residents or anyone that falsifies their address will NOT be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
Please note: Once you click submit, $20 of the registration fee and $2.75 SportsConnect processing fee is non-refundable as the funds are applied to the AYSO National membership fee and insurance.

Registration Refund Policy:There is a lot of planning that goes into creating a season or special event for our regional AYSO soccer club here in Trumbull. Although extenuating circumstances occur and plans change, these changes affect other families and the regional planning. Therefore, we ask that refunds request be submitted as early as possible. The following items outline our regional policy:
- All refunds must be requested in writing/e-mail along with supporting documentation if for medical reasons.
- No refunds for cancellations within 14 day of the registered event start date. For regular season, the first practice date is the official start date.
- Children who leave during the program due to injury or illness will receive prorated refund, assuming doctor's verification is provided.
- If the region is unable to form a sufficient number of teams in an age division, a pro-rated refund minus the AYSO Membership & Insurance fee will be issued
- A $25 fee will be required on any refund (In addition to the $20 AYSO National fee and $2.75 processing fee).
- Non-Trumbull residents or anyone that falsifies their address will NOT be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
- Anyone that falsifies the date of birth of the player(s) they are registering will NOT be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
Please note: The town of Trumbull has a 100% resident policy for youth recreational and travel sports programs. Any player registered that is a non-resident of Trumbull, CT or falsifies their address will not be allowed to play and will not receive a refund.
Refunds may take up to 2-weeks after the season beings for processing. As volunteers for the largest youth organization in Trumbull, we have limited time and we prioritize processing registrations, forming teams, and creating schedules to ensure the season kicks off on time.
To request a refund, please contact your Division Manager, who will then forward your request to the Regional Commissioner for approval.
