AYSO 599 Refund Policy
The deadline for refunds for the Region 599 core fall season is July 15th of each calendar year. The refund request must be made in writing (e-mail or letter to P.O Box 368 SLO, CA 93406) to the Region 599 Registrar and/or Regional Commissioner on or before July 15th. The refund will be for the amount of registration fee paid minus the AYSO National Fee which is not refundable.
A refund will also be paid to those who move out of Region 599 or for children who become medically unable to play prior to August 20th (for each Fall Season). Proof of new address or verification in writing from player’s doctor will be required before refund can be made. The refund will be for the amount of registration fee paid minus the AYSO National Fee which is not refundable.
Once teams are formed by August 20th of each calendar year, NO refunds are offered. We will not refund registration fees because a player is assigned to a team with an inconvenient practice time or for other reasons related to the assigned team.
Please understand that we incur significant costs once your player is registered, including fees to AYSO National, our AYSO Area, and the SLO Youth Sports Association for field use, as well as uniform and equipment costs. In addition, late drops create significant challenges for coach recruitment and Balanced Team formation.
