The Area 1D PDI training for referees and coaches (referenced below) will be held on January 8 (Monday) and 11 (Thursday) from 7:00-8:00pm at the Joslyn Center (1601 N Valley Dr, Manhattan Beach).  This is a single course, but being held two times to avoid participant’s scheduling conflicts.

• Coaches (a) whose team is a 10U or 12U Area League Champion going to Riverside for the Section 1 tournament (where all PDIs will be used); or (b) who will be coaching an Area 1D All-Star team (which will use all PDIs); or (c) who plan on having their team participate in other AYSO tournaments between now and the Fall season (most of which require the PDIs).
• Referees (a) who plan to referee at the Section 1 League Championships in Riverside*; (b) who will be covering Area 1D All-Star play; or (c) who plan on refereeing at various AYSO tournaments  between now and the Fall season (most of which require the PDIs).

*Specifically for Referees:  If you plan on officiating at the Section 1 League Championships, then you must attend one of these classes.  Referee assignments for the Section 1 tournament will only be given to those who have taken this brief course.

The course will be taught by instructors (Referee, Coach or both) who have already had experience with implementing PDIs in their respective region.
